Matt Damon tried his hand at cooking last night at an NYC benefit for the Family Reach Foundation, which raises money to help individuals suffering from cancer and their loves ones. He teamed up with famous chefs Marc Forgione, Ming Tsai, and Masaharu Morimoto for a minidemonstration at the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park hotel. Matt spoke about his culinary skills, commenting, "I suck. I suck. Growing up, our mother used to make us cook one night a week. I would try to manipulate my way out of it. But she was pretty good about making us do it. Beef stroganoff was my signature dish." Nonetheless, Matt gamely tried to create dishes with the pros in front of an audience that included his wife, Luciana. The Damons are home in the Big Apple after a recent getaway to Toronto, where they met up with pals Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner to celebrate Ben's third directorial effort at the Argo afterparty during TIFF.
