Matthew McConaughey, Michael B. Jordan, James Van Der Beek, and more handsome hunks stepped out for the GQ Men of the Year Party in LA on Tuesday night. Matthew was joined by his wife, Camila Alves, at the gala, which celebrated the actor and his fellow featured men — including Will Ferrell and rapper Kendrick Lamar — as they were honored for defining the past 12 months with their irresistible charm, talent, and style. Fruitvale Station star Michael B. Jordan cut a dapper figure in a bright blue jacket and showed off his sexy smile while hitting the red carpet. Though his That Awkward Moment costar Zac Efron was expected to attend as well, news broke earlier in the day that the actor suffered a fall at his home and had to get his jaw wired shut. Instead, Michael linked up with Pharrell Williams, Andy Samberg, and Glee stars Matthew Morrison, Darren Criss, and Chord Overstreet.
While the party was rife with good-looking guys, there was no shortage of sexy ladies; Chelsea Handler, Amy Poehler, and Lupita Nyong'o all walked the carpet alongside their male counterparts. And though one of GQ's cover stars, Justin Timberlake, was absent from the event, he and wife Jessica Biel were on hand for the private dinner that preceded the awards in NYC on Monday night. The couple posed for photos together while Justin was toasted as the guest of honor by GQ editor Jim Nelson. The singer specifically earned the title "#Hashtag of the Year" due to his being a nonstop trending topic in 2013 and graces the cover of the annual issue as well. In the accompanying interview, Justin opened up about his idea of being cool, saying, "I'm not cool. Being cool is about keeping your blood pressure steady. So no. Don't be cool. Be passionate. Be dedicated. Be tenacious. Be uncompromising. Be pissed. Be happy. Be sad."
