Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves took their family on a sightseeing tour in Camila's hometown of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on Saturday. The Alves-McConaughey family jetted down to South America after Matthew wrapped up his promotional duties for his latest film, The Wolf of Wall Street, in NYC. We caught up with Matthew when he stopped by the Big Apple premiere of the movie, where he told us about working with director Martin Scorsese and balancing work on this newest project with Dallas Buyers Club, which he filmed during the same time. The family should enjoy their downtime in Brazil, as they will soon be back in LA to prepare for what is shaping up to be a very busy award season for Matthew. The actor has already landed nominations from the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the Critics' Choice Movie Awards for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. Award season won't start in earnest until Jan. 8, when the People's Choice Awards takes place in Hollywood, so Matthew has a few weeks of fun before he hits the red carpet.
