You can take the guy out of Texas, but you can't take the Texas charm out of the guy! Matthew McConaughey [1] and his wife, Camila Alves, took their two eldest children, Levi and Vida, sightseeing in Rome on Sunday. The family visited the Colosseum while a tour guide taught them about Italy's rich history. In between taking in the sights, Matthew and Camila gave their children one-on-one attention. Perhaps the cutest moments came when Matthew leaned down to fix Levi's collar and pointed out the architecture from a high point.

Matthew and Camila made time for the family getaway in the middle of what is arguably one of the actor's biggest award seasons. So far, he's taken home a handful of trophies for his compelling performance as an AIDS patient in Dallas Buyers Club. All the excitement culminated in his memorable and bizarre speech at the SAG Awards [2] last week.
