Michael Fassbender did a victory pump with his new Coppa Volpi prize during the Venice Film Festival on Saturday. Michael won the best actor honor from jury president Darren Aronofsky for his work in the Steve McQueen-directed Shame. Michael also had David Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method debuting at the Italian celebration of cinema, and both movies went on to be screened during the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend. Keira Knightley and Viggo Mortensen handled press for the Cronenberg picture Saturday, as Michael hopped on a plane and landed in Canada yesterday for a photo call with Steve.
