Michael Fassbender turned heads at the Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday. Wearing a black suit, he looked as dapper as ever for one of the final shows of award season. He was up for best supporting male for his work in 12 Years a Slave, nominated alongside the late James Gandolfini, Jared Leto [1], Keith Stanfield, and Will Forte, although it was Jared who ended up joining this year's 2014 Spirit Award winners [2]. Michael will also be vying for best supporting actor at the Oscars, where he'll battle Jared again, plus Barkhad Abdi, Bradley Cooper [3], and Jonah Hill [4].
