President Barack Obama was all smiles on his way to a church service with his family, laughing with Malia as the group left the White House on Sunday. Looking like they stepped out of a holiday card, Michelle Obama matched her daughter Sasha in a plum-colored dress, while Malia coordinated with the president in a dark jacket and patent leather flats.
The first family visited St. John's Church in Washington DC, and Obama likely appreciated the family time following a difficult month. Along with the recent government shutdown, there have also been issues with the HealthCare.gov website. Last week, Obama addressed his concerns over the buggy website that's provided fodder for critics, but his speech made headlines for another reason — he stopped mid-address to play hero. In the middle of his speech at the White House's Rose Garden, Obama helped a pregnant woman keep from fainting, saying, "I got you — you're OK." Turning back to the crowd, he joked, "This is what happens when I talk too long."
