Miley Cyrus got a dose of star power while filming her MTV Unplugged special in LA on Tuesday. Madonna joined the "Wrecking Ball" singer, and the pair hit the stage while decked out in spangly country Western garb (they also made sure to stick out their tongues together, Miley style). Miley and Madonna belted out two tunes together including Madonna's hit "Don't Tell Me" as well as Miley's "We Can't Stop." After taping their performances, Miley told the crowd, "That was pretty f*cking cool, you guys. It sounds super lame, but as a pop star it's pretty cool performing with Madonna."
Miley spoke to MTV News about her decision to duet with Madonna, saying, "I wanted to have someone here that wasn't the obvious and something that people wouldn't really expect," adding, "The fact that she's here, kind of doing this hoedown thing with me now, is unbelievable. I'm so stoked." Before pairing up with Miley, Madonna hit the Grammys stage to sing "Same Love" with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on Sunday. The gig made headlines when 34 real-life couples were married during the performance.
