Miranda Kerr kissed her son Flynn Bloom today as they left a photo shoot in Sydney. Miranda's in her home country of Australia doing modeling work for the month of August, and her husband Orlando Bloom recently jetted in to join her. She kicked things off last week with retailer David Jones for a day of work, and we'll get to see her again in an upcoming catwalk show. Miranda has also been doing her fair share of press while Down Under. Miranda Kerr spoke about her husband, son, and work recently with the Sydney Morning Herald, revealing she'll walk the runway this November during Victoria's Secret's big show! Miranda said:
- On being a mom: "It's just the best thing I have ever done. To have children was one of the main things I've wanted to do in my life, and it really was better than I ever thought it would be. I'm really lucky because I have a good-natured boy. When I was pregnant, I practiced hypnobirthing, which is a daily meditation, and I practice a lot of yoga and I think that had a lot to do with him being calm, because that was the first energy he felt. They say a calm mother is a calm baby."
- On Orlando as a dad: "He's amazing. He is so supportive and he is incredible with Flynn, and he is really helpful and very hands-on. . . . He does it all. When I'm working, because I'm breastfeeding, I pump and then I put the bottles in the freezer and he feeds the baby and that way he has a good bonding experience, too."
- On the pressure to lose weight and Flynn being a big baby: "No, you would assume that. I put on 40 pounds (18 kilograms), but I wasn't fazed. I was eating so much and my grandma was like, 'Love, you had better stop eating. You're going to make a big baby and I don't know how you are going to push it out.' I was like, 'Nan, it's fine,' but she was the only one who knew."
