Award season is upon us, and dozens of A-listers gathered in NYC on Tuesday night for the National Board of Review Awards Gala. Though none of the stars of the film of the year, Her, appeared, a longtime favorite duo was in the spotlight as Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese were honored with the Spotlight Award for their multiple collaborations. Their latest film, The Wolf of Wall Street also took home best adapted screenplay. Among the other winners of the night were Prisoners for best ensemble, Michael B. Jordan and Adèle Exarchopoulos for their breakthrough performances in Fruitvale Station and Blue Is the Warmest Color, and many more. Plus, Leo and Martin weren't the only sweet pair onstage — Meryl Streep embraced Emma Thompson after presenting her best actress award, and longtime friends Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer did the same for Octavia's best supporting actress award. Keep reading to see some of the winners, and then prepare for the first televised award show of the season, the People's Choice Awards, which airs tonight.
