dictionary.com also defines the n-word as:

"a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc."

Just sayin'.

"Did you also take the time to check where I spelled it right? Did you spell check everyone else's name too?"

Hahahahaha Yes, of COURSE I did! Someone had to!

You know what? Why don't you post your e-mail address, so that the next time I need to look up a word, I can just ask you instead of referring to the dictionary or dictionary.com. No, the word won't be spelled correctly, but I will no doubt have the proper meaning in two shakes of a lamb's tail!

"I would hate for you to not be able to vote in the next election, sit in the front of a public transit bus, a counter at a deli, marry outside your race, or further your education because of this."

Ummm, I'm pretty sure that YOU can do all of those things, too, so what's your point?

From dictionary.com:

farce

foolish show; mockery; a ridiculous sham

sham

something that is not what it purports to be; a spurious imitation; fraud or hoax.

There is no better way to describe the Tawana Brawley case. It was all of the above. Farce is certainly the correct word to use.

You're obviously not as well-versed in civil rights as you'd like us all to believe. If you were, you'd know it's JESSE Jackson, not "Jessie."

From dictionary.com:

ambulance chaser

a lawyer who seeks accident victims as clients and encourages them to sue for damages.

At no time did I say anything about an "ambulance chaser." That was your interpretation (which was incorrect.)

I wrote "hootin' and hollerin'" No mention of hoops. Oh, and no, I never saw "Tropic Thunder," so I wasn't offended either way.

Hahahahaha! At least if you're going to quote me, quote me verbatim. I wrote "hootin' and hollerin'." There was no mention of "hoops."

Clearly, you know absolutely EVERYTHING there is to know about civil rights. Congratulations!

By the way, didn't Al do a wonderful job when he supported Tawana Brawley? THAT whole story was a FARCE, wasn't it????? Oh, and ambulance chasers are attorneys. Both Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are civil rights activists and Baptist ministers. How could they possibly be ambulance chasers????

Since you allege to know all that there is to know about civil rights cases, please enlighten us all with regard to one against blackface. Please, I IMPLORE you...

Hahahahaha

It's offensive that you insinuate that I know nothing about civil rights cases. As it happens, I did a group project on Brown v. Board of Ed, Plessy v. Ferguson when I was in graduate school. I don't know what any of those cases has to do with this, though.
