Nicole Richie was one of the many famous faces in the crowd at the taping of Lionel Richie and Friends in Concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last night. The event brought together multiple country artists, including Big Kenny, John Rich, and Tim McGraw, who performed with Lionel, as well as others that took the stage for solo performances. Nicole shared a sweet story about growing up with the musician, saying, "You probably think growing up as Lionel Richie's daughter, I had some private concerts. . . and I did. But the whole time he was singing to me, wearing those sweats with his big mustache and afro, I wasn't listening. I was a toddler, not realizing that I was hearing some of the best songs recorded in the '80s." Nicole continued the tribute by joining her dad to sing a track that he wrote for her when she was 6 years old, called "Climbing." Check out the entire concert when the special airs on CBS April 13.
