Yesterday, aerialist Nik Wallenda walked a quarter mile along a tightrope, moving step by step nearly 1,500 feet over Arizona's Little Colorado River Gorge. Viewers watched The Discovery Channel's live "Skywire" broadcast as Wallenda stepped across a 2-inch-thick steel cable while winds around 30 mph moved across the Grand Canyon. The 34-year-old tightrope walker — a seventh-generation high-wire artist — walked for just over 22 minutes before jogging the final steps and kissing the ground. Watch the video above to see the final minutes of his walk.
