Obama Reveals Who the US Believes Shot Down MH17

"This was a global tragedy," President Barack Obama said during a press conference on Friday, referring to the shooting down of a Malaysia Airlines plane over Ukraine. While some details are still unclear, it's believed that a surface-to-air missile took down the jet, and 298 passengers were killed. The president revealed that there was "at least" one American citizen aboard the plane, Quinn Lucas Shanzmen, and he said that "evidence indicates that the plane was shot down" by pro-Russian rebels. Obama also called for an immediate cease-fire in Ukraine, noting, "There has to be a credible, international investigation." As for American involvement, Obama said, "The United States will continue to lead efforts within the world community to de-escalate the situation." Watch the full address below for more details.
