Photos of Angelina Jolie in LA to Officially Sign on For The Tourist

Angelina Is a Tourist For Work and Play

Angelina Jolie braved the rainy LA weather on Wednesday for a meeting at Sony Studios. She popped over to California from France, where she's been hunkering down with her family when she and Brad aren't off traveling with twins Knox and Vivienne. Both Angelina and Brad are enjoying a break from their hectic work schedules, though there were recent rumors that she is taking over for Charlize Theron in the thriller The Tourist. Angelina was apparently in Hollywood to officially sign on to the project, so it looks like it's just a matter of time before she leaves her French chateau for a movie set.

The other day I received a message from PopSugar advising me of their "Community Rules". It stated that Office Topics are not allowed. I have complied but not before I explained to PopSugar that some of the anonymous post inflicted the "Health Care" issue in the Angelina's post. Anyway, to avoid any further anger and discord from some of you, I will put my opinions on health care to rest. Before I do that I would like to respond to #64 & #65 since they are one of the same. Medicare/Medicaid will defunct by government statistics in about 8 years+/- also the Veteran's Health care is not up to snuff since the dollars appropriate it for has gone to other "vital" programs. The current world conflicts health situation are not as involves as much as the veterans from Vietnam and the Kuwait conflict, but in the coming years they will be. There were thousands of casualties in the Vietnam and Kuwait conflict and these veterans are still being treated. At that time Agent Orange, napalm and others incendiary ammo was used profoundly in Vietnam and in Kuwait the burning oil fields created huge respiratory problem for our fighting soldiers. Now days technology has evolved ten fold but there is still casualties and that should not be shoved under the rug. Insurance is a necessary evil. Try to rent a card without automobile insurance. We need insurance companies but they are not the problem as the government is telling you but they need to be regulated and since they do regulate themselves the government will have to step in. THAT IS NOT RIGHT because they are a private domain. If the insurance companies were able to cross state lines that would create competition and jobs and that is the engine that moves our country. COMPETITION. When you shop you have so many places to choose from so why not insurance companies? Also the liability for malpractice should be at a minimum. When a court awards a defendant millions of dollars in a libel suit against a doctor or a hospital the insurance company that they have will increase the premium that you pay to absorb the loss. It is call business as usual. I DON'T think is right, but it is done.So that is it. Brad and Angelina has absolutely nothing to do with any of this. They are good people and they are striving to make a little bit of a difference in this beautiful crazy world that we call home.

Tell me Jengal have you had the opportunity to visit the United States? I don't know as to where you got the idea that people can not afford to get sick here in America, because they do not have health care. That is a total fabrication. Hospitals no matter where you are here in the States HAVE to provide treatment. Now the doctors don't have to provide services since they are private enterprises, but if they "take" Medicare/ Medicaid Insurance they are also oblige to provide medical services for the patients that have Medicare/Medicaid Insurance. That is part of the Government Health Care Service. If they do not have money or insurance to pay for said treatment the government under the Medicaid/Medicare Program and other Health Care services will pay for it. That is why we are taxed just like you are. It does come out of our pockets and is called TAXES it is not called something. It is a basic human right as you pointed out, but not under government control. Obviously Medicare/Medicaid is full of fraud and waste that is why is not working Since you do not have the opportunity to live her on a day to day basis it is hard for me to accept your debate. Nanny state is when the government controls (takes care) of all your rights. I personnaly do not want or need that. It may work in the UK where you are taxed to the max and many of your compatriots have left for better shores. There isn't any arguments here, you see it white and I see it black there is no gray area.

Whilst the NHS is not perfect, I'd still much rather have that than a situation like in America where people can't afford to get sick because they have no access to healthcare. Strange but the people who oppose it, and free healthcare in general, are those who resent paying for it because they believe it comes out of their own pocket or something. I will never stop believing that staying alive and healthy is one of the most basic human rights. Saying that it is linked to a nanny state is frankly a capitalist lie.

Oh!! You are in England, I was just there on my way back to States from Kenya. My Mother was British as well, what a coincidence! No Jengal it has nothing to do with you moniker at all and I really don't care if you like Jennifer. It's more of you condescending verbiage against anyone that does not agree with you. If you are in the market for an argument and I will not give you that opportunity, sticks and stones.About your health care. I only know what I have read in many of the periodicals that come from your country as well as other information from the various agencies that track this sort of thing and the consensus is that is not working. But feel free to educate me. Jengal as smart as you are you should know that the average person does not read as much as before due to the technology of the internet. I'm afraid that is the truth.

It all started with Burma and health care brought in by another of the many anonymous posters here. I just responded. I will NOT get into a political debate with any of you in this particular forum that is about Angelina and Brad. Period. My political views have no bearing to the world at large. If any of you feel comfortable with a Socialist Government so be it. I could, with intelligence, answer #62 comment but it will escalate beyond proportion and I certainly would not want that. LOL Welfare has NOT worked and it has created a nanny state it has empowered to government for political purposes as in "I will take care of you and you vote for me" a situation to never allow people to elevate themselves for a better life condition. It takes away self esteem and the ability to be self sufficient. If you need to learn about Socialism, please read George Orwell's prophetic "1984" . It will open your eyes even though it is a novel. The phrase "Big Brother is watching you" is derived from it. Great read as well as Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrug". Jengal as your moniker states you are a dye in the wool Jennifer Aniston fan, and as such, any time you can put Angelina in a squeeze you will do it but I can and I will debate you on that. I have in the past, read your comments, talk about patronizing. You can dish out but you can not take the heat. The pot calling the kettle black?

"|I do more than sit in front of a computer I also read ah, real books an education is something no one can take from you. Now go and read something and learn"Sandy feet - you said that and if that's not patronising and offensive I don't know what is!Frankly if you think taking care of people who can't afford to get sick is socialism than maybe it's time to try a bit of that. After all, thr American brand of cut throat capitalism is clearly bankrupt

Jengal to whom did I offend and I was patronizing what and I did not insult anyone that has a different opinion than mine. I said and I will say again "I DON'T CARE IF DON'T LIKE ANGELINA AND BRAD" but I am entitled to my opinions as you are to yours .You accused me of not having compassion for workers or people that have no health insurance because they can not afford it and I said that is not the government that needs to provide that. If insurance companies were able to cross states line there would be more affordability because it would create competition. Plain and simple. Jengal as to whom have I been offensive? The truth of the matter is that you dislike them so much that you are now targeting me. In a celeb gossip forum no less. LOL
