Lauren Conrad shopped with Kyle Howard then joined her friends for Frankie's birthday party on Saturday before getting all dressed up for the MTV Movie Awards yesterday. Last night marked a big milestone for LC since it was her last episode of The Hills. The finale had its fair share of dramatic moments, including Lauren surprising Heidi at her wedding, a rehearsal dinner fight, plus the usual fashion, beauty, and gadgets complete with a Kristin Cavallari introduction. On the red carpet yesterday, Lauren talked about the show and Heidi and Spencer's new reality venture:
- On her new freedom and what's next: "I've been done for about two months and I've really been enjoying no cameras, but it's always sad to say goodbye to a show and everyone who worked on it. Right now I'm writing my second book. My first book launches next month, June 16, and I'm going on a two-week book tour, which should be really fun. I'm working with Kohl's on a line that launches in October and with Marc cosmetics on the girls empowerment campaign — so, I'm busy."
- On Heidi and Spencer being on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! "I think it should be a good show." And who's going to last longer? "I don't know. I have no idea actually."
Neither Heidi nor Spencer is off to a smooth start in the jungle, but Lauren looked gorgeous holding down the red carpet without them.
