Javier Bardem stuck close by his pal Alejandro González Iñárritu's side last night at a bash celebrating the best-picture-nominated movie Winter's Bone in LA. The two men are friends and collaborators as well, as Alejandro was the writer and director behind Javier's most recent film Biutiful. The Spanish-language project earned Javier a nod in the best actor category, thanks in part to some good-natured lobbying from his Eat Pray Love costar Julia Roberts. Javier has been busy making the award season rounds at the Goyas and the Palm Springs Film Festival, but he's also a busy new dad with baby Leo around. His wife, Penelope Cruz, just stepped out looking fabulous one month after giving birth, and we'll see if she escorts Javier to Sunday's final ceremony as chic-ly turned out as last year.
We'll be broadcasting live from the red carpet and backstage, and we're also giving away a Samsung TV, so be sure to fill out BuzzSugar's ballot for your chance to win!
