Queen Elizabeth II turned the big 9-0 on April 21, but that's pretty hard to believe given the fact that she's still riding horses and flying around in helicopters. Elizabeth officially became the longest-reigning monarch in British history in September, and so far she's showed no signs of slowing down. While most people are long retired by the time they hit 90, the queen continues to prove that age ain't nothing but a number, and just last year, she had 341 official engagements — amazing, right? Keep doing what you're doing, queen.

She Knows How to Use Twitter

Not only does the queen have her very own Twitter account, but back in June 2016, she shared a photo of herself actually writing her own tweet to thank her fans for wishing her a happy birthday.

She Has Not 1, but 2 Birthdays

In addition to honoring her actual day of birth on April 21, the queen is also treated to a national celebration in commemoration of the milestone every June.

She Rides Around in a Customized Range Rover

In 2015, Elizabeth debuted her custom-built State Review Vehicle. Designed with an open top, the Range Rover has a diesel hybrid engine, which allows her to get close to the public without choking them with fumes.

She Hangs Out With Celebrities

Throughout the years, we've seen members of the royal family cross paths with a bevy of stars, but one of our favorite encounters occurred in July 2016 when David Beckham attended The Queen's Young Leader Awards at Buckingham Palace. Of course, it wasn't the first time these two met, but the queen's smile was all we needed to see.

She Only Carries Cash on Sundays

In 2015, it was revealed that Elizabeth never carries money with her, except for on Sundays when she "donates to the church collection basket." A source close to the monarch added, "Her butler irons a 5-pound note into a little square by folding it until you can only see her face." How fancy is that?

When the queen isn't riding around in her customized Range Rover, she's flying over her subjects in a private chopper.

It's a well-known fact that the queen loves horses, and in October 2016, the royal continued to prove that age ain't nothing but a number to her when she was spotted riding horses with her head groom, Terry Pendry, in Datchet, England.

She Still Has a Job

Despite being 90 years old, the queen still goes to work every day and has shown no signs of retiring. Her duties as monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the The Church of England, and Head of The Armed Forces include lots of paperwork, visits overseas, hosting world leaders in the UK, and awarding excellence and hard work.
