Hey there, I'm Carly Woolness [sp?]. It's Britney Spears' 30th birthday, and in honor of the pop star's major milestone, we're sharing our favorite Britney stories from over the years in PopSugar Rush. I remember back in high school whenever Baby One More Time would come on the radio I would call up my best friend and we would scream the lyrics into the phone. You'd think I'd be sick of it because we did that so many times I can't even remember, but I still really love that song. My friends and I were obsessed with Britney Spears our junior year of high school. I even had these sparkly, like silver pants I used to wear that were my Britney pants, and we'd watch Oops I Did It Again video over and over again, trying to learn all the moves. I'll never forget when I was watching the VMA's in 2003 with my girlfriends Madonna took the stage with Britney in a surprise performance, and at the end they shared this shocking kiss. But the best part was the cameras panned to Justin, who had just broken up with Britney he gave us the best, I'm not going to give you a reaction look, that had everybody talking. I've been a fan of Britney since I was in junior high, so it was really hard for me to just pick one moment. But, the one that stands out to me the most, is making this poster to bring with me to the Oops, I did it at Gantor. I tried to replicate her fairy tattoo by making it the B in "We love Britney". I had glitter all over my bedroom for weeks, but I kept that poster on my wall all through high school. The first time I ever heard "Baby One More Time", I immediately made my Mom drive me out to the Mudic Mall, to buy this CD's single. CD's single has a hilarious little insert that has fun facts about Britney, one of which said her favorite food was plain food. I actually didn't get to see Britney live until this year. First I saw her at the Good Morning America tour in San Francisco, and then on her Femme Fatale tour. She just looked phenomenal. It was worth the wait. Happy birthday, Britney.
