PopSugar Poll: Are You Surprised Lindsay Lohan Scored the Vanity Fair Cover?

Are You Surprised Lindsay Lohan Scored the Vanity Fair Cover?

Lindsay Lohan is on the front of Vanity Fair's upcoming October issue, available nationwide on Sept. 7. She posed for photos shot by Norman Jean Roy, and in an accompanying interview, LL shared about allegations she's addicted to alcohol and drugs. It's the latest cover for the just-out-of-rehab actress, who was also featured recently in German GQ, Maxim, and Complex. It seems like there are plenty of publications ready to give Lindsay the spotlight, despite the fact many of you aren't interested in what she has to say. Vanity Fair is an esteemed publication, but they seem to have faith in her to sell issues. So tell us what you think — are you surprised she scored the cover?

Surprised? No. Disappointed? Yes. This girl needs some serious medical help - not the Vanity Fair cover.

I'm assuming Vanity Fair's lead time is - what - at least three months or so? Which means this interview and photo shoot were completed a while ago. (Maybe I am wrong?) All in all, it seems too perfectly timed, to me...

Not surprised, but doubt it will be a great seller.

Agree with Splork. The magazine will be flying off the shelves bought by the crazies who admire her.

Nope. Controversy sells. People are oddly fascinated by this woman's complete personal life and career implosion.
