No Post-Jail Interview For Paris, But She's Still Ready To Change

No Post-Jail Interview For Paris, But She's Still Ready To Change

Contrary to previous reports, Paris will not be paid $1 Million for a post-pokey interview on NBC. In fact, the network is denying that they ever had a deal, telling TMZ, "There's nothing to pull the plug on because we never committed to this." Adding insult to injury, Us Weekly says that after NBC gave the no, Paris called Barbara Walters, who also denied Hilton's request. Awww, I thought they were BFF?

Speaking of her post-lock-up life changes, during her chat with Ryan Seacrest she apparently said she had plans to build a "transitional home" for incarcerated women to help break them of the cycle of returning to jail over and over again. I hope she actually follows through with this one.

Well, I guess we'll see how this all turns out, because the jailbird is flying free on Tuesday!

im not that interested, shes not that nice a person, shes really quite fake and dosnt have a sense of humour! she might b a nice person and i hope she is ok and not really screwd in the head like they said she was but shes not a good role model for kids, do we really want people growing up and acting like a paris, even shes sick of it. its really not 'cute'

Too bad...she really needed the money. She's not even that rich, her grandfather sold the whole Hilton chain so long ago, they probably only saw about a million per sister...and i'm sure that's gone already...I bet she's also pretty upset the owners of Club Paris in Orlando took back both cars they had given to her as presents...including the one she was arrested in for the DUI.

She is NEVER going to go away. The media will never leave her alone. They keep feeding into this. Look at all of these people trying to get the first interview with her. My GOD! What has this country become?? When someone like Paris Hilton can get this much attention. It truly is the beginning of the end.

Time will tell, but Paris will say anything.

I'm highly skeptical. But I hope she proves me wrong and does something productive for society for a change -- even if it's for self-promoting purposes, the end result is all I care about. But I doubt she'll continue being anything but the self-absorbed whore that she's famous for being.

I don't think anyone turned her down for an interview. You know those networks so want to exploit the whole thing and make a bigger deal out of it. But there was lots of outrage for someone being paid 1 million for going to jail. I do hope she will do good, but somehow I doubt it. Though without a doubt she's become about 100x more famous then she was before. There is no way she will be able to not get into the spotlight.

i think its great no one wants to interview her. she is a waste of time anyway. it seems like she is just trying to make more money off her mistakes. like i said, morally adrift...
