Pregnant Kate Middleton squeezed decorating time into her busy schedule last Tuesday, when she stopped by a luxury design store in London. She wore a blue ASOS maternity dress as she popped into Bernard Thorp to look at fabrics, reportedly for her new home with Prince William in Kensington Palace. The shopping trip came just hours after she wore an elegant Jenny Packham dress and attended a special church service honoring Queen Elizabeth II's 60th coronation anniversary at Westminster Abbey. Her stop at the service marked one of her final royal appearances before her expected due date in July. Kate will make one of her last official appearance before she goes on maternity leave on Thursday when she'll christen a Princess Cruises ship at the Ocean Terminal in Southampton.
Kate and William have been preparing for their baby and are reportedly planning on throwing a baby shower. The shower will be a first as royals don't typically celebrate such an event for their children. However, Kate has allegedly gotten the queen's blessing for an informal shower, and Kate Middleton's uncle is already planning his gift for his niece's little one. He said that he is planning on getting the baby, regardless of its gender, shares in the Chelsea soccer team.
