The Reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Keep Changing Their Honeymoon Plans

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said "I do" on May 19, and more and more details about their honeymoon plans have been coming to light. We recently found out that the newlyweds will be vacationing at a luxury resort in Namibia — where Harry spent three months in 2015 working on conservation projects and helping endangered black rhinos — but now we're not too sure.

According to royal correspondent Omid Scobie, Harry and Meghan keep changing their honeymoon location due to security reasons. "The honeymoon destination has changed a few times since they started planning," Omid told Elle. "If a location leaks prior to travel, it compromises their safety on the trip, and they'll be advised by their protection team to change plans. William and Kate's protection officers ended up doing recon on two destinations before they settled on the Seychelles for their 2011 honeymoon. I heard that just over a month before the wedding, Harry and Meghan hadn't even booked a destination, so these plans have come together rather quickly!"

It was also recently reported that Harry and Meghan would be vacationing at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, Canada, instead of Africa, but the resort has since shut down the rumors. "Though Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has a longstanding history of serving as a royal retreat, we can confirm that the couple is not currently booked for a stay," the hotel said in a statement.

Hmm . . . where, oh where, could Harry and Meghan be honeymooning?
