Reese Witherspoon and her brood headed out for lunch at the Ivy at the Shore restaurant in Santa Monica, CA, on Saturday. She and husband Jim Toth walked alongside her son Deacon Phillippe, while her daughter, Ava, held on to baby brother Tennessee. Reese is likely enjoying some downtime with her family before heading back to the Oregon set of her latest project, Wild. Filming on the movie — a big-screen adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's bestselling memoir — began earlier this month, and Reese recently shared photos of herself in character via social media.
In addition to starring in Wild, Reese also has a hand in the picture's production. In Elle's Women in Hollywood issue, she explained that it was 14-year old Ava who inspired her decision to begin producing movies. "I started noticing a couple years ago that I wasn't seeing women as the stars of movies. I'm seeing them as the guys' girlfriends or so-and-so's wife," Reese said, adding, "I just thought, 'God, if I don't start buckling down and start producing some movies, what's my daughter going to see?'"
