Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw. Regis Philbin said farewell to Live this morning, and we're taking a look at the tearful goodbye — and some of our favorite Regis moments over the years — in today's PopSugar Rush. REGIS: "I'll always remember spending these mornings with all of you." After 28 years on the air, Regis Philbin took his final bow on Live this morning. Donald Trump, Meredith Viera, and more famous friends came out to watch Regis's last show, and by the end, there wasn't a dry eye in the place. KELLY RIPA: I've had the privilege of walking 43 steps with you from my dressing room to the studio floor, 5 days a week, for the past 11 years . . . . Cohost Kelly Ripa delivered a moving speech in Regis's honor, but the hour was filled with tributes. PopSugar editor TK is here with more. Over the years, Regis became a regular fixture of many people's mornings. We grew up with him! Even though he sometimes bumbled with people's names, his interviews have always been fun to watch. REGIS: Come on Alicia, we'll make him real jealous. He's never been afraid to look goofy . . . And he even lets others poke fun at him like when Ben Affleck did his Regis impersonation. BEN AFFLECK: "I'm out of control!" It's all just a part of Regis's charm. There's no word on what Regis will do next after his daytime TV retirement, but this clearly isn't the last we've seen of him. In addition to a new memoir, he also recently shot a pilot for a reality TV show and he told the New York Times that what he'd really like to do is SNL. Thanks Regis, and goodbye for now. I hope I see you all real soon. Thanks, everybody.
