Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. Rihanna teams up with Alexander Skarsgard to bring the "thrilling" Battleship to Tokyo and talk about taking on Whitney Houston! It's all in today's PopSugar Rush. Rihanna picked a conservative Pucci pantsuit for the Tokyo premiere of Battleship today. This is Rih's first foray into film, and she told reporters that while the move away from music was challenging, she truly enjoyed the whole experience. "It was really nerve-wracking to be honest, but it was a really thrilling experience working with Peter Berg, the director, he really had a way of making it special." The beauty from Barbados has reportedly thrown her name in the hat to next play her idol Whitney Houston on the big screen if a biopic is ever made, but she set the record straight, telling The Telegraph, "I didn't get that call yet." The singer added, [pull quote] "That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off." Rihanna's costars Alexander Skarsgard and Brooklyn Decker were also on hand today on the red carpet, where Brooklyn said the cast has become super close through filming and traveling together. "They're all unbelievable, we're all friends off camera, so the fact that you can make a really good movie with people who you trust and you like to be around, it just makes it that much more special." Battleship will be in theaters starting on April 11th. "Enjoy Battleship!"
