Rihanna didn't let a little formal dress code get in the way of her fun at the 2014 Met Gala. The "S&M" singer walked the red carpet in a white dress that bared a wide swath of midriff and a hint of her chest tattoo at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Anna Wintour Costume Center on Monday evening. The figure-skimming design was by Stella McCartney, who outfitted several women in attendance at the white-tie event. Reese Witherspoon, Kate Bosworth, and Cara Delevingne also wore looks by the London-based designer. After the event, Rihanna changed into a slinky gold number for her private afterparty and happily showed off a hint of her bare bum as she arrived at the bash. While Ri threw her own special fete, fans may not get to see snaps of the festivities on her infamous Instagram account as it has mysteriously disappeared from the internet. Hopefully, she'll be back to her sexy Instagram ways soon enough.
Rihanna attended the 2012 Met Gala in a similarly sexy Tom Ford look, but the singer skipped out on last year's festivities. Do you think Rihanna's return to the annual red carpet will earn her a spot among the all-time best dressed at the Met Gala?
