Robin Thicke is trying to win Paula Patton back, and he wants everyone to know it. The singer made his plea to win Paula public during a concert at the Patriot Center in Virginia [1] on Thursday. "For those of you who don't know, my wife and I got separated a few days ago," Robin told the audience. "And I want everybody here to know that I'm trying to get my girl back." Robin then launched into his song, "Lost Without U," which he said was Paula's favorite song. According to one concertgoer, he messed up a few words in the song because he was crying.

News broke earlier this week that Robin and Paula were separating [2] after nearly nine years of marriage and dating each other since they were 14. Shortly after the announcement, several reports surfaced that Robin was trying to save his marriage with Paula [3], despite the fact that the relationship had allegedly been "unraveling" [4] for some time. News of marriage trouble first popped up after the MTV VMAs in August after Robin twerked onstage with Miley Cyrus [5]. In January, Robin was spotted getting cozy with unidentified women [6] at a party with Kanye West [7].
