The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star Rooney Mara made her first-ever appearance at the Golden Globes tonight. She's a nominee in the category of best actress for her turn as Lisbeth Salander in the David Fincher-directed adaptation of the best-selling Swedish book series. The film is also nominated in the best original score category.
Rooney chose a black Nina Ricci gown for the show. Rooney said she picked the black dress because it was comfortable, but the dark, skin-showing number is fitting with many of the styles she's worn to recent premieres. We'll see if Rooney wins a Globe statue in just a few hours, but for now, weigh in on our beauty and fashion Globes polls!
