A state of emergency was declared in California this week, as more than 6,600 firefighters fought multiple wildfires across the state. The majority of those firefighters have been battling the blaze near Sacramento, where the so-called "King Fire" affected more than 71,000 acres of land. Over 2,000 homes have been threatened as a result of the wildfire, with hundreds of residents evacuating the area. On Thursday, officials announced that a suspected arsonist is being held on $10 million bail for "maliciously" starting the wildfire.
