Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in a shimmery cocktail dress from Vivienne Westwood in NYC last night. She was joined at the New 42nd Street Gala by fellow actors Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber. Liev and Naomi chatted with press before the event and were later spotted leaving with their sons, Sasha and Kai. It was fitting that Naomi was on hand for the celebration, as this year's event honored the Australia Council For the Arts. Fellow Aussies Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman were the honorary chairs for last night's event, though Hugh missed out on the festivities as he's currently on the road promoting Les Misérables.
Naomi's been hanging on the East Coast in recent days spending time with her boys, but she'll soon be packing up and heading to California where she's expected to attend an LA press day this weekend for her forthcoming release, The Impossible. Early Oscar buzz is already surrounding the film, which is based on the true story of a family caught in 2004's tragic tsunami.
