Selena Gomez gets glamorous on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's April issue, which was photographed by Terry Richardson. Inside the magazine, she opens up about her new single life and reveals that she isn't that into going out and trying to meet people. However, Selena does admit that she believes in the power of love, just like her friend Katy Perry. Surprisingly, she adds that she doesn't like to get dressed up outside of red-carpet events and that she "doesn't give a damn" what she looks like. Read on for more from Selena Gomez in Harper's Bazaar.
- On her casual off-duty style: "I do not give a damn what I look like, I don't. I wish I could pay attention because Gwen Stefani, say, looks flawless. Of course, when I'm on red carpets, I'm nervous, sweaty, and weird."
- On dating: "[I don't get] asked out a lot. And when I actually look presentable, I'm at an awards show. It's not like I've wanted to go out and look for someone. I'm not really good at that."
- On believing in love: "I believe in love—yes, I'm one of those girls. Most of my friends believe in love. I went out with Katy Perry last night. She's so fun and awesome, but it's cool to see someone older believe in love too. She is all about it, and that's how I will always be. I believe in stories like, 'Oh, I met him in Starbucks.'"
