See the Engagement Ring Benedict Cumberbatch Gave Sophie Hunter

Benedict Cumberbatch announced his engagement to theater director Sophie Hunter earlier this month, and now we can finally get a good look at the ring he gave his new fiancée. The pair made their first joint public appearance on Monday when they attended the NYC premiere of The Imitation Game, Benedict's new film about the life of Alan Turing. While Sophie kept her hands firmly out of view on the red carpet, she did flash her new bling while leaving the event with her handsome beau. The ring appears to be a large cushion-cut diamond surrounded by a halo of pavé diamonds in either a platinum or white gold setting. In short, it's a perfectly elegant fit for the future Mrs. Cumberbatch.
