The Spice Girls take the stage at the Olympics closing ceremony, along with Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Russell Brand, One Direction, and more big names. Hey there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw. And we're breaking down the highlights in this PopSugar Rush. The Spice Girls reunited in London to help close out this summer's Olympic games. Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and, yes, Posh, made a grand entrance in lighted cabs as they performed two of their biggest hits for the masses, "Wanna Be" and "Spice Up Your Life".TresSugar editor Annie Scudder is joining me now to talk more about the performance and a few other highlights from the show. Hey, Annie. Hi, Lauren. So we've both been really excited about this reunion, you know, ever since we heard rumors that they may be performing at the closing ceremony. So what did you think? Did it live up to expectations? Yes, it did not disappoint. They all looked really great, they sounded great, and I was dancing along on my couch to "Wanna Be". And I also really liked that they played "Spice Up Your Life" because I thought it was perfect for the festivities. No, I agree, and I was really excited to see them get to do two songs, because not all of the performers last night got to do that. But even so, I still wanted see more. I know. That was my complaint. It was too short.\ Yeah. Yeah. I was kind of hoping they would come back towards the end of the show. Well, moving on, because we saw Prince Harry and Kate Middleton in the stands watching, but where was the queen? Because I was kind of hoping to see her. Well, it's always the queen's plan to just go to the opening ceremony. She wanted to leave the games to the younger members of the royal family. As for Prince William, he's already back to work in North Wales as a search and rescue helicopter pilot for the Royal Air Force. And, you know, I really loved seeing Prince Harry in the stands. He was whistling and singing along during the Monty Python portion. That was definitely a highlight for me. Well, another highlight that a lot of people are talking about is Kate Moss, who showed up at the show, so let's take a look at that. And here I am, in real life. Kate, Naomi Campbell, Georgia Jagger, and more British supermodels all came out and watched the arena to the tune of David Bowie's song "Fashion". Now, I know some people on Twitter were saying it felt a little out of play since, you know, this is in celebration of athletics, but what did you think? It totally worked for me. I thought it was a great way to perform that song "Fashion", and I loved seeing some of the most famous supermodels wearing iconic British fashion labels. Yeah. I thought it was great just, you know, one part of the show that was a tribute to all things British. Right. And I think it was good that they kept it short as well. I agree. So it didn't take over. Well, along with the Spice Girls we had Muse, Fatboy Slim. We even saw Russell Brand come out and sing. So what was the highlight for you? I really just liked seeing all the athletes walking together instead of by country, by country. It felt like we were at a concert enjoying it with some world class athletes. Right, and I'm--got to say I'm going to be sad that they're gone now that the Olympics are over. I know, I'm really said. Yeah. Well thanks Annie, I appreciate it. You're welcome. In the next Summer Olympics will be in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, so let the countdown begin. I'm Lauren Bradshaw and we'll see you next time on PopSugar Rush.
