The hepatitis story IS a nightmare. And I agree with Ashley, SaRah and Dulce about religions. I'm just all for people living their lives the way they deem best for themselves, and I have that opinion about all things, not just religions. But since that's what we're talking about here, I feel that any kind of religion or group that anyone wants to be a part of to enhance their mental, emotional and/or spirituality is terrific. And more power to them. I only ask that they don't get too preachy about it, which some people tend to do.

I can't wait to read that book. It's all about thinking positive and changing your attitude. Not a new religion at all...lol too funny.

thats so funny because i just heard a segment of this on the radio today and i too think its just another outlook on life. i think everyone feels better with a little positive thinking. but anything that you have to pay money to join into, or where you are alienated from your family and friends is not a relgion *ahem, scientology* im just an orange county girl, living in an extraordinary world

I can't help but add that that Daily News article was catty and judgmental. The idea of positive thinking is not new...what's so crazy about believing in good things?

The Secret is not a religion. It's basically self help. I am a devout Christian, and I recently ordered The Secret. You can be of any faith and still use the principles of The Secret. It has made me change my entire outlook on life, and worked WONDERS for me. I don't think it's "nutty" at all. It's just another tool we humans can use to try and make some sense of this crazy world we live in, and achieve happiness. AshleyK, I couldn't agree more. Live and let live, is what I say. If anyone asks me about my faith, I will share it, but I'm not going to beat anyone over the head with my Bible, and I'm not going to judge someone who believes differently than I do. Anyhoo, that hepatitis A thing is very scary! I worked for a medical lab once and all the techs were terrified of getting it.

I don't understand why people hate on others that find religion, in whatever form it may take. At least they are trying to better themselves by thinking positively. What's wrong with a little positive thinking? Thousands of years ago I'm sure there were people that doubted Christianity and look how far it has gone. **Please don't think I am hating on Christianity by making this comment, I am a devout Christian. _________________________ Cheese It!!
