The creators of Brooklyn Nine-Nine set their sights on casting Terry Crews in their show from the outset, so much so that they named his character after him. The former NFL-player-turned-actor stopped by our LA studios to talk about a few other surprising ways his new role mirrors his real life and the fun of working opposite SNL alum Andy Samberg. Terry, who has been married for 25 years and has five kids of his own, also filled us in on the marriage advice he gave Andy just before his recent wedding to singer Joanna Newsom. Check out our chat, and catch Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Fox every Tuesday night.
