As 'confusing as it looks?' How about 'as crappy as it looks'?

Depp should stop trying to find movies that allow him to be as freaky as he wants to be OR as unusual as he wants to be, IMO. He's so besotted with looking and being 'strange' in his movies that he's become some sort of joke.

"Hey! How weird can I look" in my next movie? Instead of trying to find a decent movie that has a good storyline and an interesting character, he goes for the 'off' sort of character.

Well, guess what, Johnny? We viewers are tired of it. Find a story that is interesting that doesn't involve 3 hours of make-up and makes people try to understand your character instead of focusing on how freaky you look! Pay attention, dude! You are tanking!
