You know the deal. You're a celebrity, so the more money you make, the more free stuff you get. Especially on award nights. As a way to draw celebs to present (or show up) the network coordinates a way for you to make off with $26,000 of free goodies. Of course, the marketing folks at these companies could not be more thrilled that their products will be in the hands of A-list celebs along with all the additional press they get for being so kind to give away free merchandise. This year at the VMA's goody bad will include:
"an iPod shuffle with an MTV logo, an orange vinyl Paul Frank watch and a glass checker-set from José Cuervo.... a six-month membership from The Sports Club/LA, two complimentary vacations, Shu Uemura makeup products and a Willy Wonka "golden ticket" redeemable for unlimited Nestle Wonka candy."
We'd love the golden ticket. Yum!
