All y'all is haterz I liked it I mean it wasn't an OMG! performance but she was pretty good. I thought though that she could have done alittle bit more advanced choregraphy. But her acting was good and the dancing that she did was cool. And lip syncing while dancing is pretty hard so i give props to whoever simply tries it.

I think the out of sync thing is coz it's a crappy video on the net and the noise and pic is usually not in sync. I think she did a good job, I think people are being a little harsh coz of tall poppy syndrome :P

Jumping in late here.Leave it. There was no dancing. Strutting and posing is NOT dancing. Any model (on a runway) can do that.I do have a dancing background, and I personally, saw no dancing. JMHO.

I'm sorry but after seeing pictures of her going to dance rehearsals every day for MONTHS, I expected a lot more! Way too much hype. That was awful!

She looks fantastic and her legs are gorgeous, but she did more prancing than dancing. It looks as if she had a blast though. I love her smile.

Looked fine, but there was no dancing going on on her part.

I don't see it as "hating" at all. Katie made a personal choice to do a guest performance on a competitive reality show for professional dancers. So it's certainly not wrong to be left scratching heads when we had all that build up and hype surrounding said performance (claims it was "Oscar worthy" and she "killed it", declarations that Katie Holmes was an amazing singer/dancer) and then when it finally airs it's really not that extraordinary at all. Many are underwhelmed to say the least. So what are you gonna do? *shrugs* Everyone has a right to a personal opinion, especially when tuning in to watch a show where you are asked to vote on and judge these performers. What's really wrong are all the show's attempts to now back-pedal and make it seem like Katie was just "doing it for the children". It was the hype started by the show itself that wanted everyone to believe she had an incredible talent and was going to blow us all away. To now turn on their audience and declare them haters just because they were *not* blown away really makes the whole thing a joke.In my opinion Katie Holmes could/should have written a big old fat check to the charity and let some of the actual talented kids out there dance on stage instead. Would have made a whole lot more sense to draw attention to the "children" whose dreams/talent need that charity's help. It seems too much like a vanity project the way it was handled.
