Absolutely, positively The Departed. It is definietly time for Martin Scorses to win an Oscar. It's long overdue. I haven't seen Babel yet, but heard it's amazing. I'm so over Dreamgirls and hope it doesn't win anything.

Brad and J Hud. I have no desire to see Dreamgirls however. It already appears to be overrated.

I have seen all the movies. I liked Departed, but Babel was the best. I heard Brad has a good chance of winning an Oscar for this one. I love the way, that he can play any part and do well.

ok i havent seen babel or dreamgirls but i also thought that the departed wasnt all that, it wa quite boring!! oPPSS!! Borat was kinda funny but i wouldnt see it twice

BORAT! cohen is absolutely a GENIUS! everything he does is purposely offensive and absolutely hilarious! if you don't get why it's funny, then, well, your loss. i hope he wins best actor because it's probably harder for him to do that role than any other role for a movie because he only gets one shot to be perfect. he has to be sharp and quick with his responses. other movies can do as many shots as they want.

I'm happy for Ben. Ben Affleck and Diane Lane both did and incredible job in "Hollywoodland". I agree, Ben has taken a beating for the last couple years. Ben did and excellent job in "Chasing Amy" and "Changing Lanes". It's good to see Ben doing good work again. Word is Ben screening of "Gone Baby Gone" for the Studio Heads went great. They are considering releasing his movie during award season.

the Departed was easily the best movie of the year-- one of the best ive ever seen. most movies about Boston are gross and the actors dont even come close to replicating the accent. being Boston born and bred i can really appreciate the effort made by leo to do us proud. the Depaahded is wicked good. case closed.

Me too, Sweet! I haven't seen any of these yet. But, I most excited about Babel anyway.

Go jennifer Hudson!

the golden Globes are more flamboyant in taste as opposed to the oscars. I really doubt that Beyonce will get an oscar nod, I think Damon will for sure. The list will be much different.

Brad Pitt produced The Departed and Running With Scissors, and so even if he doesn't win for best supporting actor, he still may hook up bragging rights should either of those take home an award. Very cool.

I's happy for Jen Hudson - she is a great talent, should never have gotten voted off Idol but all the haters were doing that vote for the worst thing, and she is not the average thin polished perfect person. I'm excited for Ben - he took his beating like a man - and boy did he get it - and hung in there until he proved himself. Now if all the haters get off his back and find another victim. I don't know what Beyonce is doing in there. Adn how did Dreamgirls get in there but Matt Damon and the Good Shepherd didn't?
