Wait, what year is it? On Wednesday night at the People's Choice Awards, Sarah Michelle Gellar thanked her Buffy fans in her acceptance speech. The Crazy Ones actress won favorite actress in a new TV series for the work on her current show, but she noted that she never got the chance to thank those who supported her during Buffy the Vampire Slayer's 1997 to 2003 run. She said: “For seven years, I had the privilege to be a part of one of the most amazing television shows. And I've never gotten a chance to publicly thank them: the cast, the crew, and all the fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So thank you.”
