David Beckham Is Having a Ball With Kids in the Philippines

David Beckham traded New York Fashion Week with his family for a charitable soccer game in the Philippines on Thursday. The retired soccer star was back on the field during a visit on behalf of UNICEF to meet with survivors from the 2013 typhoon that devastated the region. David kicked around the ball with a group of excited kids and even treated one little boy like his own, hoisting him up on his shoulders and running around the field. He made sure not to leave out the nonsporty residents, taking to the arts and crafts table with some families, too — perhaps making a Valentine's Day card for his wife, Victoria Beckham? We'd like to think so.

This is David's second big charitable contribution, as he also just announced his support to save wild rhinos in an antipoaching PSA with Prince William. It's been a busy, jet-setting week for David, who hopes to spend some more time in Miami with his family as his new MLS team starts to come together.
