14 Reasons Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Are Probably the Best Parents

Both on screen and in interviews, Ryan regularly shows off his sarcastic side. And let's not forget that whole Van Wilder thing. We have to assume that Ryan is the funny dad who cracks jokes and makes up weird games.

Blake Lively's high school pictures prove that she's always had a silly side — she was even voted "Class Clown."

These two can't keep their eyes off each other! Just one scan through Blake and Ryan's cutest pictures and it's clear that they're pretty much always stealing sweet glances.

Blake and Ryan's daughter has all kinds of fun Hollywood "aunts" thanks to Blake's sweet friendship with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars. It's been nearly 10 years since they starred in the movie together, but last month, the group reunited for brunch, with Amber Tamblyn calling them her "best b*tches."

Nothing beats the adorable faces Ryan makes in the movie Definitely, Maybe. It's almost too much.

In September's issue, Blake told Marie Claire that she wants "a litter of kids," saying — very appropriately — "I gotta get started."

When Blake and Ryan visited a children's hospital in Canada in 2013, they posed for pictures with little ones and a hospital spokesperson said, "Mr. Reynolds and Ms. Lively were wonderful with the children."

On a more serious note, Blake is known for stepping up as a role model, and in November 2013, she made her way to the White House to team up with First Lady Michelle Obama for a career workshop with high school students.

No doubt Ryan has probably gotten some sweet parenting advice from his best friend Sandra Bullock, who dropped more than a few wise words in her graduation speech at a New Orleans high school. She talked about the advice she's shared with her son, Louis, saying, "The rule is, you have to dance a little bit before you step out into the world because it changes the way you walk. It changes the way you walk out in the world."

With all of Blake's friendships within the fashion community, it's safe to say that James probably wears the coolest clothes.

We're half kidding, but for the record, Ryan looks rather good in stereotypical "dad clothes." Ryan was spotted on the Woman in Gold set in July sporting pleated pants and wire-rimmed glasses, and not even a buttoned-up look could distract from his good looks.

We cannot ignore that Blake Lively's hair is absolutely gorgeous, so on a completely superficial note, she's passed on some enviable hair genes! To say nothing of Ryan's good looks, of course, since they're both the faces of L'Oréal Paris.

When Ryan appeared on The Tonight Show, he and Jimmy Fallon had a hilarious water fight — the perfect practice for his days having water-gun battles with James.

It must be said that Blake and Beyoncé are friends, which means that Blake already has some major "cool mom" points that James will definitely appreciate someday. (Actually, let's make that double the cool-mom points, since she also starred in Beyoncé and Jay Z's On the Run tour video!)
