Prince William and Kate Middleton Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at a Parade

Prince William and Kate Middleton showed off their St. Patrick's Day spirits by joining the 1st Battalion Irish Guards for an annual parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, England, Tuesday morning. The Duchess of Cambridge opted out of wearing green and instead covered her baby bump with a dark Catherine Walker coat, accessorized with a brown hat and a shamrock brooch, while Prince William, who is Colonel of the Regiment, wore his traditional Irish Guards uniform.

The pair was there to present shamrocks to the cadets and guardsmen, a 114-year-old royal tradition. Although the weather was gray, Kate and Prince William both flashed big smiles to the crowd and chatted with guests and children before sitting down with the officers and sergeants for a photograph. The duchess even presented an Irish Wolfhound, regimental mascot Domhnall, with his very own shamrock.
