Bill Murray's Joy at the Cubs Winning the World Series Proves That Dreams Really Do Come True

The Chicago Cubs won the World Series on Wednesday night for the first time in over 100 years, and the world collectively (and rightfully) has been an emotional and happy mess in the hours since. After the incredibly intense game seven against the Cleveland Indians came to a close, Bill Murray, who is originally from Illinois and has been a lifelong Cubs fan, couldn't contain his emotions. After freaking out in the stands and flashing one of the biggest grins we've ever seen on the field, Bill made his way into the team's locker room, where he chugged Champagne and shed a few tears while talking about his beloved team. "I knew I was going to cry, I didn't think it was because I was blind," he said while wiping Champagne from his eyes. "I've been imagining this for a long time." Since the Chicago Cubs have always been thought of as the underdogs in baseball, their victory (and Bill's reaction) is further proof that dreams really do come true.
