Don't screw with Britney. That is the new message she is going to send to the tabloids as they create story after story about her and Kevin. Brit's first attack is against US Weekly for $10 million. She's pissed that they wrote about some "raunchy footage" sex tape that existed. The tape was brought to our attention back in October but for some reason Britney wants to clear the air before the new year. E! Online reports:

Spears maintains that (a) there is no Pam-and-Tommy tape; (b) there was no threatened leak; (c) there was no viewing party for lawyers; (d) "there was no laughter, disgust or goofy behavior while watching the video...because they did not watch any video...because there is no such video"; and (e) that obloquy stuff totally sucks.

The lawsuit, putting a finer point on it, brands the Us article a "despicable work of fiction comprised of blatant lies from beginning to end."

In other Britney news, It looks like her and K Fed are headed to the Caribbean for a little vacation. Could this be their Italy trip like Nick and Jess to try to save their marriage? Kevin let's hope you treat your lady well so you don't get the boot when you get back.

No this has nothing to do with OK magazine. People reports that Jessica is doing "okay" and she will be spending the holidays with her family in Hawaii. Weird choice since her and Nick tried to spend a holiday in Hawaii before Ashlee and her boyfriend crashed their vacation last time. They also report:

Simpson and Lachey got together on Friday for a short time. "He came over to her parent's house. They spent a little time together and they said their goodbyes."

In other words, don't expect a reconciliation. "The fact that she filed tells you that it's going to be over. It wasn't something she took lightly," the source says. "Friday was an emotional day. As far as people saying it's going to get nasty, if it were, I don't think they would spend an hour and a half together like they did."

Once again, Jess turns to retail therapy to help ease the pain. She needed three people to help load up the car. It's a good thing it's the holidays and maybe she could buy some gifts for others.

Nick Carter and Paris Hilton were in Vegas on Monday night at some LG Mobile party. I'm curious to know if they reminisced over their almost engagement days before she wanted us all to believe that he physically abused her. I have a feeling if it was that bad then they would not be in the same room as each other. In fact, I'm betting Paris did not give Nick the time of day.

In other ex news, MK and Stavros has a awkward run in at Teddy's the other night. Luckily she was with her more faithful man, David Katzenberg.

Finally, in Paris world, she was warned by police that her holiday party was out of hand this weekend. Note, she still has her illegal pet, Baby Luv.

Comedy has been lacking on the hit show this year but finally a fabulous little rap made SNL seem funny again like the old days. Watch the video and enjoy.

Elton Doesn't Sell Out
Elton was offered over $10M for the opportunity to broadcast his upcoming wedding but he decided he wanted to keep the event private. I bet we will still see the photos sold to some magazine so stay tuned.

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx has turned R&B singer. His album hits stores today and he is appearing on the usual TV shows like TRL, Oprah, Letterman and Regis and Kelly all week. Jamie teams up with the likes of Snoop (With You), Kanye (Extravaganza), Ludacris (Unpredictable) and Mary J Blige (Love Changes).

I like it because it has some modern tunes (let's all remember how fabulous Gold Digger is), but it also has some old school R&B sounds which I think are greatly lacking these days in the music world. This could be a great holiday gift for your special someone so take a listen here to any of the many songs off the highly anticipated album.
