People Magazine reports that Mario Vazquez, Wilmer Valderrama look alike, has left the show for personal reasons. He was one of the front-runners and EW named him one of their favorites early in the competition. Nikko Smith will take his place since he had the next highest amount of votes. Let's hope we hear more news on Tuesday night.

Thursday:

• FOX is new with The O.C. and Point Plesant
• The Apprentice is a fake new episode with unseen footage but no new task or firing this week
• John Stamos is back with 2 episodes of Jake in Progress.

Wednesday:

• Lost is a repeat again, but Alias is all new.
• American Idol results show - down to 11
• America's Next Top Model is all new and another crazy skinny girl must go.

Tuesday:

• The Final 12 contestants on American Idol compete for the first real week of the competition.
• The Amazing Race is all new - Rob and Amber came in first last week, hopefully they will fall behind this week.
• Project Greenlight premieres its third season now on Bravo instead of HBO. The movie will be scary and the advice will come from the master of horror, Wes Craven.
• The season premiere of The Shield on FX tonight includes Glenn Close as the new captain. Reviews have been fabulous.

Disney announced that the current President, Robert Iger, will take over Eisner's CEO role in September of 2005. No big surprises here since Disney has been looking for months and Iger was clearly the man most mentioned to take the title.
