Everyone seems to be claiming that successful reality shows were actually their idea. The most recent supposed stealers, the producers of Project Runway. Weird that even though designer Cynthia Rodriguez is claiming it's hers, no lawsuit has been official filed.
Barney's is Coming!
Barney's is opening another store in Maryland. In October the new store will be the largest Co-op to date and it's neighbors will be Dior, Vuitton and Cartier. Keep 'em coming Barney's.
TiVo Banner Ads?
Hey they created a great product, too bad their business model sucks. They gotta make money somehow, hence the new banner ad that will appear while you are fast forwarding the regular commercials. Check out the link to get an idea of how it will look.
Blockbuster Lied
I was cheering just like the fools in the commercial when I saw the "No More Late Fees" ads - but now Blockbuster gets fined for the misleading message. They deserve it for all the money we've paid them in BS fees over the years.
What can I say, I am a dog Fanatic. I know there are tons of us out there or else shows like Pet Star, and acts like Letterman's Stupid Pet Tricks would not exist. Well, now Bravo has brought on what could be the best, Showdogs Mom and Dads.
I can't wait to check out this show tonight! If it is anything like Best in Show, then it will be a winner. The awkward thing is that at-least the movie was making fun, these people will be serious. Who knows, maybe I will be on next year with my winning pooches.
Finally ABC and The Bachelor changes things up a bit - after 7 seasons it's about time.
Unfortunately, the guy is either a complete dud or just always sounds drunk, but something is way off with this Bachelor. Seriously, did they think they had star potential with an O'Connell brother? Besides, Star is already reporting that he has had a serious girlfriend the whole time so clearly he just wants to get some sort of acting gig. Sound familiar Jen Scheft?
I'll give it another episode only because the whole no rules thing has made it interesting. I mean what kind of girl has the audacity to show up on a date to be the 9th girl? And then the call outs before the rose ceremony, man these girls are bitches.
She knows the paparazzi have found her but she still returns to her brothers balcony day after day. I think she is asking to be posted al over the internet looking dirty and unkept.
Today she moves furniture, shows off that she is wearing her Kabbalah bracelet but no wedding ring, and then finally a nice image of her loving husband comforting her as she is on the phone - maybe she is finding out she is not pregnant like she so hopes for.
Johnnie Cochran passed away
E! Online reports that Johnnie Cochran died of a brain tumor today. Best known for defending OJ Simpson, and saying, "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit." OJ sends his best.
Giant Magazine has a feature article this month with a reunion of the fabulous movie, Office Space. Five of the cast members reunite to discuss the movie that became a cult hit once released on dvd.
