Woody Allen gets nasty to Kate Winslet
The director said Scarlett Johansson was his first choice for Match Point but he originally cast Winslet because he thought he needed an entire British cast. He was just pissed she decided to hangout with her family instead of be in a "Woody Allen film."

Shocker - like we didn't see this one coming. She needs to get this fixed before JT can talk again.
J. Lo wishes Ben Happiness
I'm sure she loves answering questions about her failed engagement to Ben Affleck who is getting ready to be a Daddy with the other Jennifer. In a recent Monster-In-Law press interview she said (referring to Ben):
"I want him to be happy. He's a great guy. We had a great time together."
"I hope he's found his place and found some happiness. That will be a beautiful thing for him."
Wonder what Mark reaction was to her fond words.

JT went in for throat surgery last week and must rest his voice for three months. Rest Up JT - we want to hear your reaction to your girl cheating on you.
Project Greenlight burnt out
Chris Moore's blog today was titled "Thank You" and it sounded like a swan song for sure. He said it was likely that last night's episode was the last PG ever. I think the idea of PG is fabulous but I'll admit I have yet to see one of the movies that were made. This season's Feast looks the most interesting so maybe I’ll see it or at least rent it – but I was a fan of the TV show. I enjoyed the behind the scene look...and of course the very tiny possible moments of Matt Damon to make an appearance, but the bottom line is it a rating failure.
Chris thanked everyone from the cast, crew sponsors, pets - everyone. I bet it’s been hard on him to have to deal with the show when he really just wants to produce movies.
As for the switch from HBO to Bravo, technically it should have brought in a larger audience, but like many stupid network executive, they switched the night half way through the season so even someone who is very in tune with TV did not know where it was - no wonder there were no viewers.
I still have Thursday's episode on TiVo so I'm not sure how it ends, but now I am really going to savor each minute.
Sunday
Sunday:
- A new Desperate Housewives. and a newGrey's Anatomy. Officially my new favorite show.
- NBC has a new episode of The Contender.
- CBS has the season finale of Survivor.
- Fox has The Simpsons followed by The Family Guy and American Dad
Cannes Film Festival photos
Here are some of the pics from last night’s screenings. Guests include Eva Longoria, Matt Dillon, Selma Hayek, Paris Hilton, and Kevin Bacon who was snapping pics with his Treo. Poor Sophie Marceau had a Tara Reid moment (click the read more to see it all hang out).
Second Adoption for Stone
Yes, I know this happened earlier this week but if you know me at all, than you know I am not a fan of Sharon Stone - AT ALL. The only reason why the news is getting posted now is because of the hilarious comments on the official press release that Defamer included. Click on the image below and laugh at their comments about Ms. Stone and her desperate attempt to be a noticeable celebrity again.
Weekend Box Office
It's hard to say who will win this weekend at the box office. Defamer predicts Will Ferrell's Kicking and Screaming will beat J.Lo/J.Fo's Monster-In-Law by about $6M.
Box Office Mojo says its the other way around and I have to agree as much as people like the goofy humor of Will Farrell (Elf did shockingly well), I think Jane Fonda’s return to the big screen will get the baby boomers off the couch and into the multiplexes this weekend.
I saw Monster-In-Law at a screening last week and it was surprising hilarious and super cheesy at the same time. The crowd was definitely pleased. You will laugh at loud if you see this movie - read more
