Kelly Ripa and her hubby, hottie Mark C, just purchased a duplex apartment on Crosby Street in SoHo for close to $9 million. Looks like all her hard work has paid off.

Page Six reports that Tom will not be co-starring with Ms Lohan - the winner is Michelle Monaghan. Also reported is that the superstar will be inviting FANS to the premiere of War of he Worlds instead of rich and famous people.

P. Diddy's not making the band
He was so disappointed with the final contestants on his MTV show so he "fired all 19 women trying out for his girl group." MTV was pleased - the show had it's highest ratings ever.

Star Wars broke some records, but not all of them. Overall it took in $158.5M for the four day total. Box Office Mojo reports, "Overseas, Revenge of the Sith opened wider than any other movie in history, in 105 countries, amassing $144.7 million. All told, the $303.2 million worldwide start after five days stands as an all time high, eclipsing The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King's $250.1 million, though the J.R.R. Tolkien trilogy's finale played in a much smaller number of countries."

Rounding out the top five for those who could not get into SW was, Monster-In-Law with $14.4M, Kicking and Screaming with $10.5M, Crash with $5.5M and Unleashed with $3.8M.
